This sounds like a good solution - as an end user it is a lot easier to
tweak the theme menus than to have to patch the code after every upgrade.

There are a ton of flags out there that I have no use for (such as the
recent HDTV addition), but I won't begrudge those who find them useful.
 Just about every DVR in existence has a preserve flag icon (in Tivo it
is a Green ball next to the title).  It just seemed like a lacking
feature that I would find useful.

Myth of course has the autoexpire flag visible.  The issue is that where
most DVRs have one flag Myth has two - which is actually better except
for the fact that we only can see one of them.
