Well, that's just it. As I mentioned, remapping would indeed solve it,
but I do not want to touch the default key-assignments -- these work
fine for me when I /do/ use the keyboard. And, IMHO, throwing those
around is too big of a hassle whereas putting LIRC key-presses 'into
context', like the normal key-presses are, seems a more sensible
approach. Well, in my point of view anyways :)
