Please help!

Since upgrading to 0.19+ (svn 9410) I can't watch more
than 1 recording using the "Watch Recordings" menu.
The simple sequence always crashes my mythfrontend:

1) Go to "Watch Recordings"
2) Start playing a recording.
3) Exit the recording. (typically a long pause in
myth here, while the GUI refreshes itself)
4) Start playing a recording again.

After doing step #4, myth becomes unresponsive, though
typically the audio from the last selected video will
start playing (the video is stuck on the "Watch
Recordings" GUI). At this point I have to reboot. I
can still shell in or use the power-button reboot
irexec function.

Please help, somebody! In my household, all we watch
anymore is pretty much recordings, so a crash/reboot
after every recording is obviously a WAF killer.

A mythfrontend log follows, slightly annotated with
brackets:

[...system is now unresponsive; relax, reboot,

Note that I selected the same video twice (a recording
from earlier this evening, also made with recent svn
either 9409 or 9410), and that's all I did.

In /var/log/messages all the entries seem normal,
except for perhaps this one (which I don't know how to
interpret):

Mar 20 00:46:53 capricorn kernel: NVRM: Xid: 13, 0000

Also, I don't know if this is relevant, but here is
the last bunch of lines in Xorg.0.log:
