Interesting reading, this whole thread. If what you allude to having
created is true, bravo.

However, to call it a "replacement for mythTV" and to make claims your
work does that, isn't accurate.

You're using perf to call other programs. You've written something
that replaces little shells of the frontend and the backend. What do I
mean?
