Yep, this is still the case for cards that support it.

I don't think this is throwing anyone's current setups off.
But the concern is that if we disable the drivers' swzigzag,
which is throwing current setups off, then we will be hit by
multi-Mhz swings in frequency with cheap LNBs. Then we will
need to implement our own swzigzag ourselves.

If we do need to implement swzigzag, this is still an improvement.
Since we can delay this until after we think the rotor has finished
moving the dish, and we can use the PAT and SDT to verify that
any lock is indeed on the correct multiplex.
