Yeah, me too. The main reason I put the rotor position approximation 
code in there at all was for the benefit of my dst, since it definitely 
needs the retune. Are you actually using your dst cards? I have some 
patches pending to the dst driver that improve the reliability of some 
aspects of tuning, but I think Manu's been too busy fighting the 
multistandard/8psk fight to get them into the main v4l-dvb repository -- 
I think he has his own stash of pending commits himself, too. My patches 
deal mainly with the tone/power commands, so if you're having problems 
with those you might want to try them. Oh, also, I enabled 5-byte DiSEqC 
for USALS rotors on cards which support it, and lots of ioctls weren't 
reporting error conditions, so I fixed that too -- which allows the 
diseqc code to retry commands on certain temporary failures as Allan 
Stirling suggested.
