I hate those "expert" mode setting things. I'd prefer to have them as
seperate menus, so like a "Basic", "Advanced", "Expert", each with
progressively more "obscure" settings. As someone else mentioned, most
settings are there for a reason, someone at some time needed them,
better to not remove any of them but place the more obscure ones in a
seperate section. Choosing proper defaults is arguably more important
for these so that the greater population of Myth users don't have to
bother.

It would also  be nice to be able to copy settings from one machine to
another, so if someone were to build a new frontend they could just
have it copy the settings of one of their other frontends and tweak
from there.

As well, I  find it cumbersome to have to work through the settings
menu with the remote, it would be nice to have easy access to settings
via MythWeb. I imagine this is not really part of the scope of the
project though.
