This is more of a -users question but more than likely you have set the 
recording rule to start early or end late and you only have one tuner so 
this causes a conflict because the scheduler requires that padding to be 
recorded.  Use the global start early/end late setting in the settings 
area instead and the scheduler will ignore it if needed to avoid conflicts.
