[mythtv] Occasional Closed Caption glitches (IVTV 0.4.2/PVR250/SVN Rev 8992)

Closed Captioning works well here (NTSC-Cable). However occasionally
there's a screen of CC data that flashes up for 1 frame then
dissappears 'til the next set of CC data comes in (Rather than
persisting).

Has anyone seen this before, and what information can I provide to
help make this work better?
