Using DVB I appear to only be able to get livetv using streaming now,
both worked (tho intermittently) a couple of days back.
I've attached the log of two runs, the first with a streamed, successful
tune, then the frontend is CTRL-C'd and restarted with a shared directory.
The interesting thing is the backend creates two files:
-rw-r--r-- 1 mythtv video 8081180 Feb 20 19:51 1053_20060220195115.mpg
-rw-r--r-- 1 mythtv video 12357428 Feb 20 19:51 1053_20060220195116.mpg
The first I assume is the dummy signal?
If I play it in mplayer it's just a black screen for a few seconds.
The second one contains the actual program, it's recorded OK
From the logs it looks to me like the frontend never tries to read the
second file.
This is with revision 9061
frontend -v playback log attached, can get the rest if required.
thanks
Mark
