I'm probably going to fix this by filtering the input.  I don't think
that I can safely flush the input queue for a new connection to catch
this because we could have a client that just opens a connection and
immediately sends a command like the guys who have been talking about
using php in MythWeb to control the frontend.  I should be able to
get a fix in for this tonight sometime.  I have putty so I should be
able to reproduce the issue and verify the fix.
