I think it makes sense to be able to browse all channels tuneable by the
current card we are using no matter what input would be used on the card.
The idea is that we can browse any channel we could see via the card we are
currently "in control of".

If someone wants to be able to browse channels not on the current card then
there are lots of other things that would need to be coded as noted in my
post Michael linked to.

That being said, I rarely ever use LiveTV except when testing stuff and the
browse mode code has undergone some changes since I wrote it originally so
I can't say 100% for sure what it does right now. :)  I wrote browse mode
because if I ever do use LiveTV I didn't want to spend 90% of my time
waiting for the channel to change only to decide to change it again because
I didn't want to watch the "Days Of Our Lives Family Reunion" or see another
infomercial for the Ron Popeil combination Cuisinart/Dutch-oven/Dishwasher.
