I did attach a patch  for #2142 yesterday -- I guess I should have added 
a comment too instead of just adding a patch, seems like that action is 
somewhat "stealth" :-)

This other problem doesn't sound related though -- sounds like a couple 
of the known problems in the transport scanner. The incorrect NULL 
fields come from the lack of a dvb-s specific multiplex insert, and the 
incorrect frequency comes from the fact that there's no code to 
translate back from intermediate frequency back to RF so it just stores 
the IF as read directly from the card.
