Hi,
With Daniel's recent commits, I thought I'd mention something I'm
getting in my xmltv data... namely DVB service id's, transport-stream
id's and original-network id's. Here is a snippet of the output from
my grabber :
<tv source-info-name="tvguide.org.au and icetv.com.au"
generator-info-name="XMLTV - tv_grab_au_reg $Date: 2006-03-19
12:02:35 +1100 (Sun, 19 Mar 2006) $"
generator-info-url="http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~willu/xmltv/
tv_grab_au_reg.html">
<channel id="nsw.abc.com.au">
<display-name>ABC</display-name>
<region-name>Sydney</region-name>
<service-id>545</service-id>
<transport-stream-id>545</transport-stream-id>
<original-network-id>4112</original-network-id>
<lcn>2</lcn>
</channel>
<channel id="hd.nsw.abc.com.au">
<display-name>ABC HD</display-name>
<region-name>Sydney</region-name>
<service-id/>
<transport-stream-id/>
<original-network-id/>
<lcn>0</lcn>
</channel>
This info is provided by the IceTV.com.au provider in Australia.
Note that not all channels have the info, but it seems the standard
definition ones do.
I was looking to incorporate these non-standard tags into
Mythfilldatabase at some time, but haven't had the time recently.
Daniel: I don't expect you to incorporate this, but if you happen to
be in the area for a DataDirect -> ATSC link, and it isn't too much
hassle, can you make the hooks general enough to be used for this?
Thank'ee,
Will :-}
