Yes.   450mhz vs 1.67ghz.  Can never have enough help for  
commflagging.  This could also be useful for transcoding.

Same here... I have also been trying to build a universal binary, but  
that will have to wait until I graduate in Dec.  Mostly there, just  
problems getting mysql to build for x86 from ppc.
