[mythtv] Can't use MythTV after svn Help

Thank you Stuart, This is the kind of detailed info that is really helpful
to a newbie like me. You don't happen to have any ideas about my database
seeming to be messed up do you? do you think the earlier version might fix
it? Or am I looking at starting over with a new database?

I guess that would be ok but I would like to rescue the recordings I have so
that I can watch them. I will first try to revert to previous version before
I do anything like that.

I was wondering, I already did a make distclean when I upgraded. This won't
wack my database will it?

svn update -r {2005-10-23}

Would update to the first commit from the 23rd Oct. However it is more
useful
to revert to a specific revision number.

svn update -r 7738

Would revert to the revision immediately before Isaac disabled Live-TV
[7739]
for example. For more details of the various revisions and when they were
commited, see http://svn.mythtv.org/

You will need to do do a make clean and possibly a make distclean before
building the earlier version.
