[mythtv] weird interlacing flips at the top of the screen

Using the PVR-350 for about one month, no probs up till last night... 
I was watching a pre-recorded episode of Family Guy and the top four
or five inches started to flicker with a white  color with black boxes
inside it...  Don't know if this is the FB or if it is actually an
interlacing issue...  Tried transcoding to see if it would fix it, but
no luck...  any ideas?
