[mythtv] Working myth setups (was Whats wrong with myth)

Athlon 2700XP, 1GB, 300GB LVM across 160G Seagate, 120G WD, 2x80G Seagate)
DVICO dvb-t plus (Ultravision badged),

Frontend:
Toshiba P20 notebook (3.2GHz, 1G RAM) on occasion, SuSE 9.1
Network: 802.11g using WPA (WPA affects bandwidth like all encryption...)

Hoping to get WinMyth to work soon, but it's very flaky.

Loads of issues getting it all working, but almost there - myth is still 
insisting on recording the wrong channel (but only for Ch 2) even though 
direct TV watching is ok.

Virtually no issues with DVB card once it was installed.

I chose DVICO based on recommendation of friend who had it going all 
fairly smoothly.  HDTV is choppy, but I blame WiFi network (without any 
evidence). SDTV is almost flawless except for occasional signal drops 
(<1s : I have rabbit ears tangled up with all my other computing gear)
