I just bought a 320Gb disk for $200 canadian (with rebate). If you
wait for bargains, it looks like you can buy a gig for 60 - 70 cents
these day, vs a buck a year or so ago. WD Caviar with 8M cache, only
PATA, but the premium for SATA seems to be only aroud 20 bucks these
days.
