[mythtv] proposed change to mythfilldatabase

I also use direcway and mythfilldatabase  never completes. Also my box 
is on a network connected by ICS.

Wish I could knew enough to address the underlying issue but My 
workaround has been to use dialup to get the data.

I would be happy to test any solutions you come up with.
