Yeah Mark, if you know what to do about this please let us know. It 
would be really great if we could get the AC3 issue solved for all 
(USA/Australia/Europe..., TS and PS recording, passthrough and internal 
liba52 decoding) in the next DVB patch.

I don't know anything about that but I think you should try the patch 
Marcus Metzler sent a few minutes ago and see if that helps?
