[mythtv] Porting plugins from other PVR systems?

Has anyone looked at any other PVR projects specifically for modules that 
could be ported to MythTV?

As an example, there's a *gorgeous* "Daily Comics" plugin for GB-PVR, and 
there's no license specifications in the source code. It's written in C#, 
which can't  be all that hard to use... (IANAP!)
