[mythtv] What can packagers/distro developers do to help the stability of "released" version of MythTV?

Quite simply put, test CVS prior to release.  It's not when a developer 
has no issues, it's when the people who use CVS and report back to us 
have no issues.  If you're responsible for a binary package/distro and 
you don't want to back port fixes into your release then it's in your 
best interest to be on the dev list and to test CVS, before a release 
(at a minimum).
