Excellent resource (Qt SOAP Manager)...didn't know that one existed, Cheers.

On the server side, it might be worth looking into

The C++ version is fairly robust and also stand alone.

I was preparing to do something similar to this in support of creating a
uPNP AV server.  This was more in line with an addition to the mfd project,
however.  In any case, count me in.  I am involved in the mvpmc project and
would also like to integrate a Roku HD1000 unit eventually.

There is a sourceforge project called Qt SOAP manager that might serve as a
basis for this work --
