[mythtv] 0.17 modules broke?

hi, i've upgraded to v0.17 but when i fire up some of the add-on 0.17 
modules mythfrontend segfaults and dies. So far i've tried mygallery, 
mythvideo and mythweather. 

In the case of mythvideo, opening the "Video List" causes a segfault, and in 
the case of mythgallery opening an image causes a segfault. 

Anyone else seeing this?? I've now gone back to 0.16-cvs and all works 
fine..
