Arrg, well it doesn't help the epia support (in fact the scaling 
wasn't hasVLD protected so it could have hurt) and XvMC isn't suffering 
from the scaling bug like XV was. So this patch is best forgotten.

I sent a debug patch in reply to Ivor yesterday, I'm hoping one of the 
epia people gets back to me on whether disabling any recent feature 
solves the XvMC problem. I also suggested he try re-enabling autopaint 
in XV to see if that solved the green flicker problem. 

I'm sort of shooting in the dark without the hardware to test on.
