[mythtv] libmyth build error on x86_64

Some notes...

So I see that LOCAL_LIBDIR_X11 gets populated from QMAKE_LIBDIR_X11 in
settings.pro.  I did:

qmake -d 1 mythtv.pro

and in the (copious) output I saw:
DEBUG 1: QMAKE_LIBDIR_X11 === /usr/X11R6/lib64

which is listed in /usr/lib64/qt-3.3/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf

Now, not knowing anything about Qt, it looks like qmake is apparently
doing the right thing here in getting its information... any ideas where
to look next?
