I'm having more than one problem :-)
(or maybe not)

First problem, recordings on dvb card does not start.
If i schedule a recording on my dvb card the recording never starts.
After "DVB#0 Waiting for event" is logged nothing happeds with the
recording.
See attached logfile mythbackend.log.bz2 from the backend with "-v
siparser,record,channel"

Second problem, "Error was encountered while displaying video" message from
frontend.
Coud be related to the first one, if recordings don't work properly livetv
is probably also affected by the same problem.

This is what i did:
1. Started livetv, got picture from ananlog card.
2. Pressed Y to switch to dvb card, got picture from a dvb channel.
3. Changed channel, got a black screen for a while, then the error message
"Error was encountered while displaying video"

Attached is the logfile from backend (mythbackend.log2.bz2)

The log ends at "DVB#0 Waiting for event" just like the first one.
So my guess is that these 2 problems is cause by the same thing.

Third problem, the wierd network errors.
This problem may be related to the second problem.
After the error message "Error was encountered while displaying video" on
the frontend this is logged when i try to open the progrma guide:
---
2005-08-29 00:16:38.286 WriteStringList: Bad socket
2005-08-29 00:16:38.286 ReadStringList: Bad socket
2005-08-29 00:16:38.286 RemoteEncoder::SendReceiveStringList(): No response.
2005-08-29 00:16:38.286 TV::StopStuff(): stopping player[s] (2/2)
2005-08-29 00:24:05.537 WriteStringList: Bad socket
2005-08-29 00:24:05.538 ReadStringList: Bad socket
2005-08-29 00:24:05.538 Remote file timeout.
2005-08-29 00:24:05.538 TV::StopStuff() -- end
2005-08-29 00:24:05.539 Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None
---

Maybe the backend got in a wierd state when it coud not start the livetv
properly.
Restarting the backend and frontend fixes the problem.
