[mythtv] Transcoding question.

Hi all.

I have recently looked over all the settings I can find in both mythtv-setup 
and the general frontend editable settings to see how I could force only the 
recording backend to process jobs since apparently nothing else works 
presently. I though I had found it with the 'Run jobs only on original 
recording host' checkmark in mythtv-setup, but it didn't seem to take hold?

Is transcoding not a job? If it is, does anyone have a clue why it doesn't 
take hold? I usually have to schedule transcodings for when the other backend 
is recording to get it to work right....

Do I need to edit all other backend on not 'Allow transcoding jobs' while I 
focus on the jobs of a particular host or is there a better way?

I would be happy with jobs (i.e. transcoding) staying on the host where it was 
recorded, but wouldn't mind if other hosts could do the job also. I just hope 
someone out there have a more foolproof way of doing it than I have been able 
to find. Often both backends record at the same time which makes scheduling 
transcondings difficult the way I have it now.

I am up and running version 7041/7043.
