Trust me, I've added debug code to the generated moc_siparser.cpp
to see if it has anything to call and it claims to have nobody
interested in that signal.

I've tried your suggestion of commenting out USE_OWN_SIPARSER
Causes a segfault which i'm in the process of working around.
Then I'll see if it makes much difference....
