Interesting, I wasn't aware of that.   I must have a different set of 
keys mapped because when I push a number and hit FFWD I don't see that 
behavior (I checked.  Mine are bound to > and < which behaves like a VCR 
as I recall).   It seems also that the existing code is stickykeys 
dependent which makes sense.  When FFWD/RWND behave like JUMP, then the 
jumping works but when set like a VCR, then it doesn't.

I'd propose that both SEEKFFWD when stickykeys is disabled (current 
implemention) and JUMPFFWD allow for <number> + Key to jump forward and 
back in the program.  This way, both options and key mapping 
combinations can use this feature which I have missed from my ReplayTV days.
