Okay... The plot thickens. I was mistaken, I have another channel that
(occasionally, at least) broadcasts in 720p, that being Fox. Today's Seahawks
game, playing right now, is in 720p, and plays back flawlessly right now.
However, it has the same audio problem that my CBS station has (muted,
underwater sound) if you go straight to that channel, and is fine if I change
to another channel (besides CBS) and back. CPU usage stis around 60-80% the
entire time, so I know there's no processor bottleneck.

I've also captured a few short recordings of both ABC and CBS, which when
played back in Myth are hosed (horrid stutter on ABC and muted, underwater
sound on CBS). When played back with mplayer, they are just fine. So it looks
like maybe I've got two different problems I'm coming up against, one being
that the entire stream for ABC isn't being handled correctly by Myth for some
reason, and the other being that audio doesn't initialize correctly on CBS
(or Fox), but works if I change to another channel and back.

Would it be of any use for me to post sample clips for someone else to play
with? I'm thinking I need to finally dust off my 5-years-dormant C++ and read
NuppleVideoPlayer.cpp myself... :-)
