[mythtv] MythChannels status

Hi list,

I posted following message to mythtv-users ML some days ago but
none replyed. So here it is.

I installed and configured mythtv from cvs. By now I'm using DVB-S
receiver only (no analog-tv via v4l).
Browsing the web for channel organizing module I found MythChannel
(http://www.elserrat.com/MythTV/MythChannels/), but it seems rather old
and it doesn't patch against mythtv cvs.
I also searched ML archive and I found nothing usefull and/or recent. 

Someone know what the status of MythChannels? Is it abandoned?
Is there someone working on similar channel organizing module?
Is there something I'm missing to edit and organize channels (DVB, analog,
etc.)? I'm going to compile and test MythWeb, but I'm looking for something
usable from withing mythfrontend (not via MythBrowser).

Hint?
