	SWAP_ENDIAN is my new symbol, specific only to this patch.
WORDS_BIGENDIAN was for the old patches, produced by some
unknown LinuxPPC hacker.

	WORDS_BIGENDIAN would be defined if both the backend and
frontend were on LinuxPPC, but I think the resulting stream
would not play back, because the recorder would not be swapping,
but the decoder would.
