I had a look round there, but most of it is more or less common sense
(not that this doesn't need pointing out every now and then!!)
There still doesn't seem to be a standard vorbis comment field for the
equiv. of ID3v2 TPE4 tho' hense why I randomly chose to name it
"mixedby". I did have a good hunt round Musicbrainz to see if anything
is recommended but unless I'm being a complete muppet (not beyond the
realms of posibility), there isn't!
Cheers for the thought tho'.
I wrote a couple of bash scripts that used the folder names to grab the
Album Artist data and slap it in my id3v2/vorbis comment fields for all
my tracks, so provided people keep their filesystems neat and tidy, then
they could inject this additional metadata fairly easily into their
files and, with a little tweaking, the scripts could theoretically slap
it into the myth metadata table too, so that you don't have to rescan
everything and lose scores/ratings etc.
