*All hail Kevin*.  This is the sort of stuff I was wanting to see in
the logs:  high-level, functional stuff.  In particular, it might be
useful to have (at a fairly high debug level, or on it's own knob) the
decisions the scheduler makes to figure out what to record when.

When this stuff settles down some, some input on the Wiki about what
can be traced and how you do it would be cool too; I'd be glad to
collaborate.
