[mythtv] Possible PATCH for change-channel-lirc.sh

Hello,

I was having a lot of reliability issues with change-channel-lirc.sh
with my Bell Expressvu 3100 reciever (I believe same hardware as
Dishnet 301?) when I was setting it up with digits constantly being
dropped.

Made a few small changes to the script and now it works like a charm
for me... this may solve some of the reliability problems people have
with the Actisys 200L and the Expressvu/Dishnet receivers that
periodically read about.

Anyway, just sharing my findings...
