For what its worth, I also have this problem on my dvb setup.
"asked for 0khz and got 48khz"

The fix described below got me sound again, but when I changed channel
the frontend segfaulted. I'm not sure what is wrong here, but something
is very broken in CVS as of a day or two ago.

Is noone else having these audio problems??
