Hi,

Actually im going to bail out on this one - I use a DVB-T card, so my .nuvs
are already in mpeg2, which ffmpeg can encode directly. Now i have
re-compiled ffmpeg with xVid and mp3 support, it works!

I have therefore re-written my auto-archive script (php script) to work like
this, and skip the whole mythtranscode / nuvexport thing.

Two points,
1. Can I contribute my script as an alternative export method for DVB users?
2. Is there a better way of detecting (via sql) if a recording has finished
recording than checking the commflag? it needs to also say its recording if
its still recording the extra bit at the end (ie, when you say record an
extra 300s on programs).

thanks

g
