Yeah, I withdraw my previous comments.  I didn't think it through well 
enough...  I think your algorithm is one of those which tries to 
preserve the resonanances in the human voice to try and make it still 
sound natural?  Stops the chipmunking effect. 

I think you also mentioned to me offline that you were going to patch 
relative to my latest update?
