I'm really interested to know if this works or not.  I have never tried
Asterisk.
Currently Mythphone does not support SIP REGISTER but that is probably next
on my list.

I started out using the Vovida SIP stack; but I ended up writing my own SIP
library and cutting the executable down from about 8M to < 1M.  It means
adding
things like REGISTER may take me a little longer but the Vovida stack was
frustrating me.
