Questions for MythRadio Development . . .

Issue 1. - I have not researched the DVB idea but I am open to suggestions.
Issue 2.- I have the basic player done, tune to station via V4L driver and
listen to radio - ON THE FRONTEND !!! So I am trying to work out a patch to
move this funtionality to the backend and then let the frontends feed from
this.

I hope nobody gets peaved but I took code peices from CVS that basically
create the front ends and used them to create my front end, i.e. MythVideo,
MythMusic and MythImage. Being a developer myself I knew it was easier to
"hack and clone" than start from scratch. This allowed me to prototype the
front end very quickly and start to work on the meat of the code that
actually does something. I appreciate the time and effort the people that
wrote the other modules put into their respective projects and the comments
included.

Features I want to include
==  record stream
== compression
== scheduling
== save to mythmusic lib
== fav channels, categorized by genre
== Internet streaming radio access
== Possibly a call sign image
== visualizations
== push broadcast to your computers on your network.

Currently the system works on Hauppauge boards that I am using. I have
some PCTV type bttv boards I am going to test soon. Most of these boards
are supported by V4L. Setup would involve some changes to modules.conf and
making sure you have a /dev/radio or /dev/radio0 device, etc, pretty simple
stuff. I have not submitted code to this project so just the process of
getting that straight may take me a few so be patient with me. . . thanks
for all the tester support.

p.s. Isaac . .. go Bucks !!! I live in Ohio.
