there is a i18n folder in each of the mythtv modules (/cvs/mythtv/i18n/
, /cvs/mythvideo/i18n ,....)
There is a XML-file modulename_nl.ts that you can edit.
Basicly this is in the following form :
<source>Edit..</source>
<translation>Bewerk..</translation>
If you search for "unfinished" you can see all the strings that haven't
been translated.
<source>Capture Card Menu</source>
<translation type="unfinished"></translation>
Mostly the user interfaces have been translated, the settings page's haven't.
If you want to see the results of your translation work you can do a
"lrelease translate.pro" in the i18n folder. The .qm files will be
regenerated. You can then copy those .qm file(s) to your
/usr/share/mythtv/i18n and restart your frontend.
To send in a patch do a "cvs -z3 diff -ud > mijnextravertalingen.patch"
Other files that have to be translated are the menu xml files (but they
don't change verry often) and the mythweb language.php file.
It would be nice if someone would go over all the strings and check them
for concistency.
