You only need one DataDirect account.  It allows for up to 3 lineups, I
believe.  You will have 2 videosources -- one for basic cable and one for
Dish.  Set each of these to "datadirect".  Enter the same userid and
password for both sources.  You can select the DataDirect lineup to be
different on each one, however.
