Exactly why I submitted the patch. A lot of people I know are capable of 
following a good
howto on installing mythtv, but their home-networks are pretty basic and 
they have no idea
on how this works. Their ADSL router provides them with a DHCP server: Plug 
and play as
far as they are concerned, setup by a neighbour or so. Adding a DNS to that 
network, is
way over their head, as it is for the neighbour. Besides that if a DNS is 
available, the
IP address will still be usefull. Without a DNS, the hostname of the machine 
is of no use.
I just tried to add the greatest common denominator (I hope that is proper 
english).

I have no objection agaist displaying the hostname as well. It is however 
not very
usefull for me. If I find the time, I'll see if I can add that as well. It 
is just a simple
gethostbyaddr() call I think, right?.
