AW: [mythtv] Problems tuning with tda10045H Frontend

Ahoi Christian!

Yeah, im using dvb-t. But the problems are very similar. The thing is,
if i start mythtv and switch to a channel, the chance is high that this
tuning failed. If i do a tzap before i run mythtv, the chance is somewhat
higher than... I also can see, that a "successfully tuned to channel.."
isnt a gurantee, that this channel could be tuned in. I dunno, since
when i got this problem, but imho this wasnt so hard in mythtv 0.14, but
irc present.

Im using 0.15 (cvs) and the dvb-driver (linuxtv.org) from cvs. Im not the
crack
in c++ otherwise i would look into the code on my own. But not alone the c++
thing
is a problem for me. Before i understand all that in the dvb-tuning section
in mythtv ive to learn so much more before regarding dvb and dvb-t in
special.
I think that could take some time.. =(

The other thing is, if i get this to work with one channel, mostly all of
them
works and i can zap around like hell successfully. If i break mythbackend
and
restart it, the play goes again from the start.

Im wondering if im the one with that problems. Im near to consider buy
another
dvb-t card, since i think this one isnt the best. But its hard to find a
card,
that is able to tune to UHF and VHF, since both are used here in Germany.

Anyway thank you much for your answer. Maybe someone other see a bug
in the tuning-thing - i think there is left a handfull of that beasts. =)

Regards and thanks,
Andreas

Oh, I'm sorry. I have missed that you are using DVB-t, which of course does
not use DiSEqC-Components which are changed within the patch. I'm sorry, it
won't work for you.

Chris
