That would allow for a more intuitive way to select the channel, but
doesn't SELECT currently bring up a recording options menu? I don't
want to eliminate that functionality. I just want the ability to select
the channel for live TV to be more intuitive. I think "P" is a good
choice not because it is mapped to PAUSE but because, on my remote
at least, it is mapped to both PAUSE and PLAY. Correct me if I am
wrong, but isn't this the normal mapping for most people?

I have not tried it and I am not at my Myth box now but, out
of curiousity, how do you choose to record a program from the EPG
when accessed via live TV if the option to use SELECT to change the
channel is enabled? Maybe I am just a bit dense (and unable to play
with the frontend to test), but I cannot recall a way to select a
program to record from the EPG other than by selecting it and then
choosing one of the recording options.

I'm just trying to smooth out what I see as a side-effect of one of
the 0.15 changes. Maybe it grates on me more than others who
don't use live TV as much (or at all). ;-)
