[mythtv] [patch] viaslice: init & guide fixes

Hi,

Here is a patch for viaslice, which fixes the problem when the user has not 
read enough docs, and is not running as root or has not inserted the 
via_v4l_drv module, by exiting with error messages. There is also a proper 
fix for the preview in the guide, so that it will not do overlay on the 
advanced recording options screen. The patch will probably generate some 
offset warnings when applied, but it should work out ok, if not, please let 
me know.
