I'll take a stab at it.  I looked at it briefly at first and it made my 
head hurt at first glance.  :)
But if that's the way the UI is headed I'll work it up.  Actually, I was 
started to add the features from the mythlog plugin to this and he has a 
pretty simple setup there that seemed to make more sense to me than some 
of the more advanced plugin XML files so I don't think it will be too 
hard, just take a little time.
