that I already submitted a patch that added a Play from Beginning button 
that also included breaking the INFO menu into two parts with an 
Advanced button to switch between them and Isaac is not interested in 
such an arrangement.

I'm pretty sure that pressing play on the Manage side will still play 
the recording.  The SELECT functionality is actually the same as it is 
now as I understand it.  The only thing missing is Play from the INFO 
menu on the Manage/Delete screen in order to save space.
